Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Jason Wall and Mike Simmers to Appear on LXD?

Posted by Beast575 with 1 Comment :: Follow on Twitter

I recently stumbled upon District 78′s “Take Off,” as featured in Season 1′s “Antigravity Heroes” on youtube. (Listen to it HERE.)

In the description, it lists the cast as follows:

Roger Aaron Brown as The Narrator
Harry Shum, Jr. as Elliot Hoo
Christopher Scott as Copeland
Daniel “Cloud” Campos as Illister
Luis “Luigi” Rosado as Trevor Drift
Aja George as Stereo
Nick Lazzarini as The Lyricist
Terence Dickson as Minijack
Jonathan Perez as Legacy
Jeremy Marinas as Justin Starr
Travis Wong as Jimmy Angel
Christopher “Lil’ C” Toler as Z
Mike Simmers as Dash Michaels
Straphanio “Shonnie” Soloman as Phono
Chadd “Madd Chadd” Smith as Sp3cimen
Jason Williams as i
Pandora as Autumn
Shelby Rabara as Dark Nurse
Travis Wall as The Guardian
Galen Hooks as Ninjato
Carly Lang as Alice Wondershaw
William Wingfield as Katana
Nicholas Braun as Cole Waters

You may notice some characters and dancers whose names and faces we have yet to see or hear from. Among them are former SYTYCD Season 1 Champion Nick Lazzzarini and Season 2 Runner-Up Travis Wall. Also listed are Jason Wall and Mike Simmers. We have no knowledge of whether the source is reliable, although a few little details indicate that the list may not be accurate.

Jonathan Perez is listed as playing the character Legacy, although many fans know that to be his b-boy name. Also previously, Perez mentioned via chat that he had not yet shot an LXD episode (he choreographed “The Tale of Trevor Drift”). However, that does not mean that he has not filmed since this time period, and it’s possible that Jon Chu decided to keep his b-boy name as his character’s.

The description also references the villains as being called “The Alliance of the Dark.” From information already learned, we know the forces of evil in the LXD to be called the Ox and the Umbras (to be seen in future episodes). Perhaps there are more dancers to beware?

What do you think? Could this information be true? Tweet us, or write in the comments section below!

Interview: ‘Blogging Best Dance Crew’ Talks to Slick and Nugget

Posted by Beast575 with No Comments :: Follow on Twitter

When The LXD wanted to scare the bejeezus out of its viewers for the Halloween episode of The LXD, they called on Ringmaster members Nicholas “Slick” Stewart and Adedamola “Nugget” Orisagbemi. Watch the episode here to see what I mean.

I spoke to Slick and Nugget earlier this week, where they talk about how they got involved with the LXD, the process for choreographing the episode, why they are such great villains on the show, their other work on America’s Got Talent and Step Up 3D, and their goals going forward. One note: their shoutouts at the end of the podcast include Michelle McNulty, the casting director who was instrumental in getting them their shot on America’s Best Dance Crew Season 3.

Listen in HERE.
