Mass Update: 9/29/2011

Posted by Beast575 with No Comments

I’m sorry for the lack of updates, guys. I’ve been super busy. I wish I had time to put these all in their own posts, but for now they’re going to have to stay clumped together. Here are the major things going on in the LXD world that I’ve missed these past couple weeks:

LXD News

  • Mike Song (Umbra) posted some of the rehearsal footage of the dancers from the episode, “Reprogram.” Check it out HERE. The video features choreography by Mike Song and Kenneth “Free Boogie” Crawford, and is danced by Madd Chadd and Pandora, Umbras Brandon Phillips, Cassidy Noblett, H20, Taichi, JD McElroy and Jesse Morales, and Energies Free Boogie, Mike Song, Anthony Lee, and Tony Tran.

Keeping up with the LXD Dancers

I’ll try to come around more, and be more on top of my game. Hopefully there will be a few more posts up here in the next couple days!

Television: Caity Lotz Stars on “Death Valley”

Posted by Beast575 with No Comments

Caity Lotz is no stranger to the LXD, although you may not recognize her name, or even her face. Caity was featured in the first two episodes of the LXD’s second season, but she had no lines, and you wouldn’t know her character’s name unless you checked the end credits. Caity has the honor of being the LXD’s lone b-girl, appearing as the young LXD student Taylor Jenson. Caity will return to the LXD in Episode 7 of Season 3.

But just in case you can’t stand to wait until then, you can catch her as a series regular in MTV’s new hit show, “Death Valley,” a spoof comedy about cops who are specially trained to take out werewolves, zombies, and vampires. Caity stars as Kirsten, the rookie cop that has yet to even set eyes on the living dead. Caity does all of her own stunts, and performs alongside a stellar cast.

This is a fantastic show, but it should be noted that it should be viewed by mature audiences only. “Death Valley” features graphic scenes of violence, gore, and sexuality. You can watch the pilot episode below.

Video: Team iLuminate Performs on “America’s Got Talent” Semi-Finals

Posted by Beast575 with No Comments

Team iLuminate is a group of dancers banded together to create sensational routines bound to amazing lighting technology. Through this technology, they create something completely different than anything else the world has ever seen. The dance group contains a whopping total of six LXD members: John “JRock” Nelson (Dark Doctor), Ivan “Flipz” Velez (Observer), Philip “Spee-D” Albuquerque (Swoop), Marie “Maryss from Paris” Courchinoux (Scales), Jay “JSmooth” Gutierrez, and Lindsey “Lindsey B” Blaufarb, who choreographed an upcoming episode.

The dancers have performed on “America’s Got Talent” twice before, but this is when it really counts. They’re in the semi-finals, but they need your votes to make it all the way!

The judges gave them some of the best feedback that could possibly be given, but it’s up to America to keep them in the competition! To vote, call 1-866-602-4809 or text VOTE to 4809.
