This week’s episodes features the directorial talents of Ryan Landels and LXD newbie Jason Russell and choreography by Kenneth “Free” Crawford, Mike Song, Luis “Luigi” Rosado, and David “Kid David” Schreibman. These episodes reintroduce some old friends, as well as some old enemies. Enjoy!
LXD members Galen Hooks, Terence Dickson, Shelby Rabara and JD McElroy have gathered together to give encouragement to everyone out there (that includes you) to submit their own dance videos for the CokeZero “Make Your Own Dance” Competition. They also show us the moves to some of their favorites so far:
LXD members Galen Hooks, Terence Dickson, Marie “Pandora” Medina, JD McElroy, and Aja George give demonstrations of some of their favorite dance moves created by you, and they ask for more. This is a fun watch!

We posted earlier with some fuzzy videos of the LXD’s performance in Beijing. The same youtube user has now uploaded the videos in high quality, and for those of you who have already seen the fuzzy ones, it’s definitely worth taking the time to rewatch the routines in high definition. Several of these routines are reinterpretations of successful numbers from the LXD’s past, and it’s fun to see a new spin put on them with different dancers.
Performers include robot Madd Chadd, tutters Pandora and JSmooth, breakers Venum, Milky, Machine, Flipz, Beastmode, tapper Christopher Scott, Umbras Johnny Erasme, JD McElroy, Cassidy Noblett, and newcomers Raymond “NastyRay” Mora, Josh “Incredible Bboy” Ortiz, Jessica Lee Keller, and Dana Fukagawa.
While some of the LXD dancers are performing with Glee Live in London, the rest were making their debut in Beijing (Master Card Center) for Mini Live 2011. We have a couple photos for you to check out in our gallery, and video of their performance below – thanks to @KennyWChina for the links.

Several LXD dancers were given the opportunity to star in the late Michael Jackson’s last music video, “Hollywood Tonight.” Fanboys Terence Dickson and Straphonio “Shonnie” Solomon, Umbra JD McElroy, and Mermaid Rino Nakasone appear alongside lead dancer Sofia Boutella, Lucas Raynaud, Jenny Kita, and many other lucky dancers in this fantastic video.
The video was directed by Wayne Isham and choreographed by Rich and Tone, whom many of you may recognize from working on Step Up 3D.

Jon M. Chu created an extra little freebie for all the LXD fans who can’t make it to the re-release of his Justin Bieber film. This short was directed by Charles Oliver and Christopher Scott, and stars Harry Shum Jr. and Frances Manzo as the leads. The Umbras make an appearance, led by Bryan Tanaka, and also featuring Johnny Erasme, J.D. McElroy, Cassidy Noblett, Dion Watson and Ivan Koumaev. The Ballerinas make their on-screen debut as led by SYTYCD all-star Kathryn McCormick with Paula Van Oppen, Beverly Bautista, Britt Stewart and Tyne Stecklein.
The short was choreographed by Christopher Scott and Harry Shum Jr., with Galen Hooks and Kenneth “Free” Crawford” credited as associate choreographers. Alice Brooks was director of photography.
This is Frances, Ivan, Dion, Paula, Beverly, Britt, Tyne, and Kathryn’s first appearance as LXD members (to our knowledge). Kathryn previously worked with Chris Scott when he choreographed the group routine for the Season 7 ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ finale. Frances tweets that she hopes to work with the LXD again in the future.
Don’t forget to catch its other half, “Game On,” on the big screen before “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” this week only! It features some of your favorite dancers, such as Madd Chadd (Sp3cimen) and Cameron Boyce (Young Dark Doctor), and introduces new characters played by Kendra Andrews and Simrin ‘Bgirl Simi’ Player!
