Ox member Luke Broadlick takes a break from dancing to take a short acting role in the new Britney Spears music video, “I Wanna Go,” as a crazed Britney fan. Some of the industry’s most talented dancers are preparing to go on tour with the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears. Among them are LXD members Rino Nakasone (Teethe), Luke Broadlick (Ox), and George “Bboy Gee” Alexander, and you can watch as they prepare in the clip below. Other dancers include Alison “AlStar” Faulk, who appeared with the LXD on “Ellen’s Even Bigger, Really Big Show,” SYTYCD contestant Jose “Full Deck” Ruiz, BGirl Shorty of the Beat Freaks, Step Up 3D dancer BGirl Peppa, Chase Benz, Jason Young, Ava Bernstine, and of course, Britney herself.

Ox members Casper Smart and Luke Broadlick reunite in the upcoming “Honey 2″ movie flick, in which Katerina Graham steps in to fill the shoes left by the original film’s star, Jessica Alba. Casper Smart plays the character of Ricky in the film, and Luke can be seen as another fellow member of the crew. Below, you can see both in an exclusive preview clip, which features a dance routine set to Estelle’s hit song, “Freak.”
Other dancers include Melissa Molinaro, Justin DeAnda, Seychelle Gabriel, Tyler Nelson, Brittany Russel, and Katerina Graham. The judging panel includes Laurieann Gibson, and Rosero McCoy. You can spot Casper in the red, and Luke is in the white.

LXD guest star Fresh Redding is everywhere. Right after his short-lived run on America’s Best Dance Crew, a new Nike commercial aired featuring none other than Fresh himself. Alongside him is Ox member Luke Broadlick, who’s currently preparing for the upcoming Britney Spears tour.

Luke Broadlick is another LXD member who has been especially busy lately, appearing with Britney Spears in performances and videos, as well as dancing in the upcoming “Honey 2″ movie. Lucky for us, he had some free time to shoot a new Boog[a]Luke short film, starring himself and Jonathan Rabon.

There are a lot of dancing movies in the works–”You Got Served 2,” “Step Up 4,” and now you can add “Honey 2″ to the list. This movie stars Katerina Graham in the lead role, with LXD members Casper Smart (Ox crew) as Ricky, and Luke Broadlick (Ox Crew), Ivan “Flipz” Velez (Observer), and George “Gee” Alexander all representing different crews in the film. The Beat Freaks also appear in the movie, which means you’ll be seeing mermaids Rino Nakasone and Marie “Maryss from Paris” Courchinoux.

Luke Broadlick portrays an Ox member in the episode, “The Greater of Two Evils,” and has expressed interest in returning. Luke has previously toured with Britney before, and is no stranger to her work. Galen Hooks plays the character of Ninjato, and also serves as the LXD’s associate choreographer.

Galen Hooks spoke at a recent Dancers Alliance Music Video Forum along with respected names such as Lindsay B, Teresa Espinosa, George Jones Jr., and more. Footage was shot and edited by Ox member Luke Broadlick.
Dancers’ Alliance is an organization created by dancers to standardize non-union work. D.A. rates are minimums imposed by dancers and agents to protect dancers’ wages and working conditions that are not covered by union jurisdiction. D.A. is not a union! These rates are most effective and attainable if dancers know them and make an effort to attain them on every job. You don’t need to have representation to apply these rates to your work.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates this past week. I’ve been pretty busy. So here’s a mass post of all the things that went on this past week:
News: “The LXD: Seasons 1 and 2” DVD is available for pre-order on Amazon! It will be officially released on April 12. Executive Producer Scott Erlich tweets that there will of course be some special features.
News: Jon M. Chu’s latest flick, “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” hit theaters on the 11th, and is already the third-highest ranking documentary ever with over $38,000,000 grossed already. The film also features Anis Cheurfa, Jeremy Marinas, Aja George, Shonnie Solomon, Nick DeMoura, and Jonathan ‘Legacy’ Perez as dancers. If you haven’t had the chance already, make sure to go out and support the LXD by watching this film! Watch the trailer here.
Music Video: Bboy Legacy (Choreographer: “The Tale of Trevor Drift) and Chanel Malvar (Finns) are featured dancers in Jasmine Villegas’s video “All of These Boys,” directed by Nappytabs and also featuring Dalphe Morantus, Alex Fetbroth, Jonathan Rabon, Quest Crew members Ryan Conferido and Victor Kim and SYTYCD alums Philip “Pacman” Chbeeb and Comfort Fedoke.
Music Video: Harry Shum (Elliot Hoo) performed Jusin Bieber’s “Somebody to Love” this week on Glee, alongside cast members Chord Overstreet, Kevin McHale, and Mark Salling. They stayed true to the original video that featured Fanboyz Aja, Terence and Shonnie.
Video: Kid David‘s (Karen) crew Renegade battled it out 3 on 3 with Skill Methodz, consisting of Luigi (Trevor Drift), Venum (Observer), and Cloud (The Illister) at Culture Shock. Click here to watch the final round.
