Unfortunately, there are no new episodes this week. However, we can look forward to THREE new episodes next week, starring some of your favorite characters such as Sp3cimen (Madd Chadd), Autumn (Pandora), The Umbras, Trevor Drift (Luigi), Spex (Steelo), The Kidd (Kid David), and more!

To hold us over until then, we have a new clip that features Trevor and Spex training for battle. You can also catch glimpses of Observers Venum and Flipz, as well as the return of Taylor Jensen (played by Caity Lotz), the b-girl who made short appearances in the first two episodes of Season Two.

LXD members Jaime “Venum” Burgos, Marie “Pandora” Medina, Luis “Luigi” Rosado, Nicholas “Slick” Stewart, Adedamola “Nugget” Orisagbemi, Aaron “Duece” Cooke, and Raymond “Prada-G” Cham join forces and put on a fantastic show for the folks over at Invisible Children, where they’re joined by Jason Russel, co-founder of the organization. Several of these routines are reinterpretations of successful numbers from the LXD’s past, and it’s fun to see a new spin put on them with different dancers.

Many thanks to @kennywchina for the info!

LXD Inspired Awards: Favorite LXD Dancer

Posted by Beast575 with No Comments

The award for “Favorite LXD Dancer,” goes to Harry Shum Jr. This should come as no surprise, as Shum takes away more awards than anybody else. His character won in the “Hero” category, and he starred in both episodes that won in their respective categories. He earned a very well earned score of 9.65, and twenty-nine voters gave Shum a ’10!’ Interestingly enough, Shum rarely dances with the LXD at performances, but serves as a choreographer to many of them, and dances his heart out on various episodes.

Shum is perhaps the most well known of any of the LXD members, in large part due to his recurring role on the hit show “Glee,” and his many works in both the acting and dancing worlds. Congrats to Harry Shum Jr. on his many wins and accomplishments!

The second place award goes to Chad ‘Madd Chadd’ Smith, who came in just behind Shum with a 9.56. Madd Chadd also earned second for his character in the “Hero” category. Madd Chadd is one of the most unique in his dance style, and arguably does the best human robot on the planet. He serves as an important figure in many of the LXD performances, and is not easy to miss. Congrats to Madd Chadd!

Rounding out our top three is co-choreographer to the LXD, Christopher Scott, with a 9.4. Scott also ranked in the “Hero” category, coming in third, which means these two awards have identical winners! Much like Shum, Scott rarely performs with the LXD, but is always there to choreograph and appears in multiple episodes. Scott is becoming pretty successful as a choreographer, and you can look for his work in the upcoming Disney movie, “Lemonade Mouth.” Congrats to Christopher Scott!

This category was one of the most interesting to watch as it progressed–in the beginning the results were all over the place!  Many dancers whom you would expect to rank highest placed lower, and vice versa. Venum, whose character on the LXD has had little screen time, was ranked in first place for a long while! However, this category’s results shows the mighty respect that the fans have for the dancers, as not a single one earned less than a score of 8! A big thank you to all of the LXD, and congrats to the winners!

Tomorrow: Favorite LXD Directors (Top Two)
